Every Journey Brings Blessings (Shell Malaysia 2016).

Saturday, 25th June, 2016
To kick of Shell’s celebration of 125 years in Malaysia, we will donate 1 cent (RM0.01) for every litre of fuel pumped at any Shell station nationwide on 1, 2 and 3 of July (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) to help empower children in need by giving them a chance to discover their talents and reach their full potentials.
The charity drive initiative first started in 2015 and thanks to the kindness and support from Malaysian motorists, Shell was able to fund various programmes of five (5) charitable organisations focused on improving children’s welfare. The organisations were able to add educational classes, renovate facilities and upgrade their office equipment to provide an environment that is conducive for learning and development for the children. Let's take a look at the lives of the children we've touched last year made possible by the generosity of the public.
  • With the support of customers and partners, funds raised will be distributed to six (6) selected charitable organisations:
  • Persatuan Dyslexia Malaysia
  • Pusat Harian Kanak-Kanak Spastik Bandar Ipoh
  • Persatuan Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Terencat Akal Johor Bahru
  • Yayasan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Kelantan (Rumah Putera Dan Puteri Harapan)
  • Seri Mengasih Centre, Sabah
  • Lembaga Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Sarawak
Furthermore, with the goal of raising donations beyond the simple act of fueling up, this year’s charity drive also gives BonusLink members an option to convert their points to donations via online and over the counter transactions at Shell stations. For every 100 points, BonusLink members can contribute an amount of 1 ringgit (RM1.00) to further help in raising funds for the organisations.
Together, let’s continue to aspire to fuel progress in the future. #Shellkita
