Facilities

Our home is situated in a 4 ¾ acres of land at Lot 5042 Jalan Indah Permai 9 Taman Saleng Indah, 81400 Senai, Johor Darul Takzim, Malaysia. It was designed and constructed to make it easy for our special needs children to move from room-to-room and building-to-building. In addition to the main administration office, we have four separate dormitories, a conference room, two canteens, a large kitchen, a classroom, a physiotherapy room, a playground, a security guard post, and various other rooms. We also have a shallow hydrotherapy pool specially designed for handicapped children. Our four dormitories are separated as follows: males under 18 years old; males eighteen years old and over; females under 18 years old; and females eighteen years old and over. We also have infants under our care, which we tend to in the under 18 years old female dormitory.

Our classroom is used for both instruction and arts & crafts. We strive to find activities that our children readily respond to. This includes not only drawing, colouring, and painting, but also some simple arts & crafts like basket weaving. We also use the classroom for other events and as a music room. In the back portion of the overall Home is a separate Senior Citizen Home, which is somewhat isolated from the children’s Home for additional peace and quiet.
